Alandra Adams is a registered patent attorney and associate in the firm’s intellectual property group. Her practice focuses on helping clients obtain patent and trademark protection, with additional expertise in patent and trademark searching, infringement analysis, and licensing.

 

Prior to joining MBL (formerly KB&A), Alandra served as an IP coordinator for Technology Transfer Services at Utah State University, where she gained hands-on experience in licensing, patent searching, and Bayh-Dole compliance. Before and throughout law school, she prosecuted patent applications for Fortune 500 companies with a Minneapolis-based firm, and represented her school in the USPTO’s patent drafting competition. She also assisted clients in obtaining trademarks through her school’s IP clinic.

 

Alandra graduated magna cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and holds a B.A. in Physics from the University of Minnesota, where she also conducted research in synthetic protein expression.

 

In her spare time, Alandra enjoys running, swimming, baking, and spending time outdoors with her husband, their three daughters, and their giant dog.
