Adam Alba is a partner whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, intellectual property disputes, real property disputes, and defamation claims in state and federal courts. A trial attorney since graduating from law school, Adam has chaired more than twenty jury trials and has secured favorable results for clients through motions and negotiated settlements across a wide range of practice areas.

Representative results include a $3 million shareholder payout in a tech startup dispute, a $1.4 million property settlement, a $1 million minority-shareholder settlement, and a jury verdict that held damages to under $18,000 against a plaintiff seeking more than $350,000. He has also obtained dismissal of multi-million-dollar trademark infringement and employment discrimination claims on behalf of clients.

Adam graduated from the University of Utah in 2006 and received his J.D. from George Washington University Law School in 2010 on a full scholarship, where he clerked in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and served on the Moot Court Board and the Journal for the American Intellectual Property Law Association. He has served on the boards of the Young Lawyers Division, the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Utah Minority Bar Association, and the Utah Supreme Court’s Advisory Committee on the Utah Rules of Evidence. He has been recognized as one of Utah’s “Legal Elite” and selected as a Mountain States “Rising Star” and “Super Lawyer.”

When he isn’t working, Adam likes to fiddle with the guitar, ride bikes, and hike with his family.
