Wade O. Bean

Wade O. Bean is a founding partner of the firm’s corporate and venture capital group, where he represents companies and investors in the emerging growth and technology space. He advises clients on preferred stock and convertible debt financings, customer and licensing agreements, entity structuring, senior debt facilities, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Wade leads a team of attorneys who support MBL clients throughout the full lifecycle of their businesses—from formation through growth milestones and ultimately to exit. He also works directly with many of Utah’s leading early-stage venture capital funds.

Wade earned his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, his M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Kellogg School of Management, and his B.A. in Economics with University Honors from Brigham Young University. Prior to founding MBL (formerly KB&A), he was an attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Holland & Hart, and worked as an analyst at Charles River Associates. He has been recognized as a Utah Legal Elite and Mountain States Super Lawyer in multiple years.

When he’s not helping clients, Wade enjoys skiing, playing basketball, discovering new music and spending time with his family.
