Marcia Fuller Durkin is a partner specializing in complex commercial litigation, with substantial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts and before administrative tribunals. Her practice spans a wide range of high-stakes matters, including complex scientific tort claims, white-collar criminal defense, defamation matters, and commercial contract litigation.
Marcia’s notable representations include successfully defending a real estate corporation in a personal injury action involving alleged asbestos exposure, representing lobbyists from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in a high-profile espionage case (for which she was granted top secret security clearance), and defending clients in the pharmaceutical industry in a federal criminal investigation that resulted in no charges being filed. She has also represented numerous clients in defamation lawsuits, including related UPEPA litigation as well as in complex contract disputes.
Before joining MBL (formerly KB&A), Marcia practiced at a well-known national law firm with offices in Washington, D.C. and New York City. She earned her J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University and her B.A. in History from Brigham Young University.
