Ryan Awerkamp is a partner who specializes in advising entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies from formation through exit. A contributor to the tech and startup community since 2014, Ryan brings deep expertise in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, and M&A transactions. He works with companies across a wide range of industries, including technology, consumer products, software, biotech, fintech, edtech, medical devices, and e-commerce, and also represents venture capital, angel, and other investors in private company equity investments.
Prior to joining MBL (formerly KB&A), Ryan practiced at Cooley LLP in San Diego, California and previously worked at Adobe Inc. He earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University.
Outside the office, Ryan loves basketball, golf, tennis, and spending time in the sun with his wife and five children.
